Simona and Frank Scheer

The pictures, ideas and plans for our projects are generated by the married couple Simona and Frank Scheer at Atelier Cheer in Appenzell, Switzerland. We strive to make art that inspires, delights and enriches.

The Painter Frank Scheer was born in Leipzig, East-Germany, in 1967. As a child he studied flora and fauna and documented the results in countless sketch books. He was trained extensively in carpentry, physical therapy and acupuncture. As a musician he was playing drums in various rock and jazz bands. In 2010 - now living in Switzerland - he made a reconnection with his inspiration from his childhood. Ever since he dedicated his life devotedly to the portraying of the great masters.
